Product Introduction: Monsieur extends home automation to cocktails

Monsieur is a Kickstarter-funded project that wrapped up a successful campaign in November. It is a smart, robotic bartender that serves drinks with consistent taste--automatically.
According to the manufacturer, "Monsieur has a touchscreen user interface that is powered by Android and connected to a microcontroller that orchestrates thermoelectric coolers, peristaltic pumps, sensors, and other mechanical components to deliver precision mixology."
Monsieur also uses Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Zigbee to determine a user's location, as well as communicate with existing home automation systems. It's smart enough to offer a double instead of a single when the user has had a long day at work, determine that the users has a guest and offer an additional drink, offer a cocktail when the user's favorite sports team wins a game and more.
Preloaded with 300 different cocktails and backed by a cloud service that already has thousands of drinks in its database, Monsieur can always recommend something new. It can also download new recipes and theme packages to fit specific moods. It also learns the user's preferences and suggests drinks the user may also enjoy.
In addition, Monsieur's companion app allows the user to order a drink from a smartphone or tablet and sends notifications when supplies are low. The app also has a synced cocktail list that shows what drinks are available with the currently installed ingredients.
