At the International CES 2015, Taiwan-based Securifi showcased the Almond+ Dual-Band Wi-Fi router, which doubles as a home automation and security IoT hub for smart home accessory integration via ZigBee and Z-Wave communications.

To prevent issues that may arise as a result of internet or cloud downtime, all smart home features are locally hosted, and remain functional on a local basis in the event of an internet outage.

 Dual-Band Wi-Fi (dual band AC1750 3×3 MIMO 802.11ac and 802.11n Wi-Fi) permits data transmission speeds of up to 1750 Mbps.
 Supports ZigBee and Z-Wave communications for home automation IoT integration.
 May be directly managed from built-in 3.5-inch resistive touch screen, or remotely via a mobile device.
 Dual core ARM Cortex-A9 processor.
 Gigabit WAN and four Gigabit LAN ports.
 2x USB 3.0 ports.
 Apps available for iOS, Android, and Windows devices.
