smanos, who recently joined the Nest Developer Program, has unveiled the Wi-Fi Smart Home Kit for the masses. Available in March 2015, this wireless kit includes a K1 hub, keypad, siren, motion detector, network camera, RFID reader, and two window/door sensors. The smart hub K1 with elegant outlook addresses all your security, monitoring and automation needs, is available in both versions. The wireless keypad KP-20 lets users to arm or disarm the system with unique keypad password protection. With the smart RFID reader RD-20, users can turn and swipe tag to arm or disarm the K1 with clear system status update.
smanos showcased other security alarm systems called W020 and L020 in Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet versions respectively. The system operates on RF868MHz or 915MHz frequency, and features internal siren volume up to 105dB. The products stay true to plug-and-play. Simply plug in the power, download the free iOS or Android app, setup connection with Smart Link, add and pair wireless sensors or accessories. System maneuvers such as siren volume and time, exit and entry delays, sensor additions or deletions, and many more intuitive settings can all be done with a few swipes and taps on your smartphone. The systems support multi users to control one alarm system, and up to 10 remote controls and 30 wireless sensors.
