Yonomi has just launched the free Yonomi mobile app at DEMO Fall 2014, the world-renowned event for launching the most innovative companies in mobile, cloud computing, consumer and social media technologies.

Yonomi connects the connected home. It’s the magical app that makes your otherwise incompatible devices invisibly react to one another, and more importantly, react to you! It makes your connected life richer, yet simpler.

Previously, rich coordination of consumer “Internet of Things” devices had been possible only with a physical “hub.” Yonomi’s innovative approach to device discovery and connectivity eliminates the need for the hub and instead leverages the user’s mobile device as an essential piece of the communications fabric.

Out of the gate Yonomi works with popular connected products - namely Jawbone UP, Sonos, Nest, Philips Hue and Belkin Wemo. Each month going forward, Yonomi plans to add support for additional connected devices prioritized by user demand.

“We’re honored to have the opportunity to launch Yonomi at DEMO Fall 2014. Yonomi is a first-of-its-kind app to enhance and coordinate your connected devices without the need for an expensive controller hub. And, we’re thrilled to announce that the Yonomi app will be free. We feel that DEMO is the ideal place to introduce Yonomi to the world,” said Kent Dickson, co-founder and CEO of Yonomi.

"After traveling the country and vetting hundreds of companies on our DEMO Tour, we are excited to bring Yonomi as one of the few selected companies launching new products solving big problems at DEMO Fall 2014," said Erick Schonfeld, executive producer of DEMO. “Yonomi has the potential to be a game-changer."
