2015 International CES: Marvell launches scalable Smart Home Cloud Center

At the International CES 2015, Marvell announced the Kinoma-based scalable Smart Home Cloud Center, powered by Marvell’s ARM system-on-chips (SoCs). The Smart Home Cloud Center is a customizable turnkey reference platform that provides an end-to-end solution for wired and wireless interoperability within the smart home environment, supporting a range of communications standards including Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Bluetooth 4.0, and Near-Field Communications (NFC).

Key features of the Smart Home Cloud Center include:

 Home surveillance recording and playback as well as live video monitoring
 Energy metering integration
 LED lighting control
 Unified smartphone, tablet, PC UI for in-home and out-of-home accessibility
 Support for home NAS (Raid 0/1) and cloud storage extension
 Content sharing among multiple, geographically spread Smart Home Cloud Center devices
