By KB Home 2014-12-18
KB Home (NYSE: KBH), one of the nation’s largest and most recognized homebuilders, has announced the grand opening of its KB Home Design Studio in Centennial, a retail-like showroom where home shoppers can explore a wide assortment of bold and extensive design choices, forward-thinking energy-efficient features and sophisticated home automation technologies.
KB Home’s Design Studios provide KB homebuyers the opportunity to see, feel and arrange choices for flooring, lighting, cabinetry, appliances and more, enabling them to imagine the various ways they can personalize their home’s design and functionality to their individual preferences. Trained design professionals are on hand to personally assist buyers in making choices.
With an expansive selection of décor details to choose from and dynamic interactive tools, the new Design Studio will enhance KB Home’s unique homebuying experience and make it even more engaging, convenient and fun for homebuyers. For example, an interactive display showcases and demonstrates the smart home technologies that can be integrated into the construction of a KB home, including central vacuum systems, home security packages and built-in audio systems.
Home shoppers will appreciate the Design Studio’s innovative and immersive bath fixture and lighting displays and life-size kitchen vignettes to help inspire them to create a home that fits their specific interests, needs and budget. Visitors to KB Home’s new Design Studio will also be able to learn about the many energy- and water-efficient features included as standard in all ENERGY STAR® certified KB homes, as well as explore additional products like motion-sensing kitchen faucets, LED lighting and more, which can further improve a home’s efficiency and potentially reduce utility bills.
“Choice is at the heart of KB Home’s unique homebuilding approach, and we want to give our buyers the best resources available to empower them to design a new home that is truly their own,” said Matt Mandino, president of KB Home’s Colorado division. “With our new, upgraded Design Studio, KB Home customers will have an incredible array of helpful tools and information at their disposal to make decisions and further enjoy their KB homebuying experience.”
KB Home is currently open for new home sales at 12 Denver-area locations, offering one- and two-story home designs ranging in price from the high $200,000s to the mid $500,000s.
